A range of base, stocks and bonus. This is for Redwood City.
430 total comp else no point
I love your logic!
What is your rough split ?
Pls share the offer
When I was pmts there several years ago, my tc was 130k. Just FYI.
Not in OCI
Which team ?
For principal, I think the base is 165k or around that. Not sure about rsu. I am talking about non-oci.
RSU for 5 years?
You have 2 negatives. 1) you arent coming from Amazon (those figures were mostly for them to join the seattle office. To steal them from Amazon) 2) you arent coming from FANG and as long as you dont present a competing offer from them you wont be ranked at that level. Oci or not, coming to HQ from a non fang company without competing fang offers... I think tc will be realistically 250 max. Once you get a fang offer, your offer will compete for it.
Oracle is treat employees like shit. My tc was 130k when there. Now my tc is 500k. Am I so different from 6 years ago?
Cant argue. Totally agree. But there were benefits to be had if you used it to your advantage. After years if similar treatment i instead opted to move to another state and continue working from home for Oracle. My salary was/is slightly higher than your 130k. But i live in a no income tax state, where cost of living is 1/10, living a quality of life much much higher than the bay, and hardly doing any work (especially in comparison to friends that followed a path similar to yours). And there are lots of amazing girls here to date that i cant make up my mind and keep meeting more amazing ones everyday.
I second this. It's hard to beat the work-life balance I have at Oracle; and I can work from anywhere in the world. (Of course, given the option to work harder for more money, I will take that any day.)
