What’s the TC and break down pls for dev director? No troll please
It depends on which team - there is a huge variance between roles and hence TC. Some people are brought on as Directors because they have 15+ years of experience and can't write code but can show big-picture understanding - these people get 3 engineers who are not good with their current managers => TC around 350k. Some people are brought on as Directors because the team has a high-profile departure and the VP does not want to directly manage 10 people; these people are interviewed thoroughly and can make significant contributions => TC around 500k. And then again there are some who are hired into OCI because they will supposedly be our saviors => TC around 700k. So, figure out what kind of director you are going to be - for the most part Oracle hires the first type of Directors and that just puts more bureaucracy in the org chart and doesn't improve the team quality at all.
If they are organically grown, will they make significantly more than my offer?
Again, it depends. Internal promotions can be from Senior Manager or from a Consulting Member of Technical Staff - depending on how good they were in their previous role, a Senior Manager promoted to Director will make closer to 500k on promotion. Also, how many years of experience you have and what your current TC is will affect your comp as well.
