Do other car companies like Daimler and Volkswagen face the same issue of being stuck ni the past in terms of technology? Ford feels like our tech is still from the 90s and 2000s when we're going into the 2020s. We should be constantly reinventing and growing, but sometimes it feels like Ford is done moving forwards in terms of technology.
Fix your damn radio before you whine about tech. There's every other week that I have to jump my car because a deuce somewhere decided that power switches are soo yesterday leaving me no effing option to turn the damn thing off when it freezes/bsods. And another idiot decided it's a good idea to burry the fuse box behind the dash and the 12v battery in the trunk 8" deep in trim. You SHOULD NOT be allowed to put any ai tech in your cars when as a company can't even get an infotainment system right.
We are still having a lot of legacy systems in place. We are now replacing some - but I'm in finicial services. I hear Ford is really embracing agile and forward thinking.
Coming from someone who left Ford for Daimler, Ford Tech stack is way ahead than Daimler..Ford is also really advanced with the agile and forward thinking..
But Ford is doing something in the connected car driving space with Autonomic.ai - right?
