Hey everyone, I'm coming up on 6 months at the small software development company I work for. I was hired as a Product Analyst (PA) but my work is clearly agile Product Owner (PO) (I do the same job as my boss but we have different titles - hers is PO). I was told in my interview that the difference at this company between PA and PO is "experience" but wasn't given objectives or a timeline on how/when I would get enough "experience" to be a PO. Since my formal training ended months ago and I recently got CSPO certified, I floated the idea to my boss of asking for a 6-month formal evaluation where a promotion and raise (at least +15k) were on the table. My boss has shown to be very receptive to this stuff but we have a parent company that this would have to go through that is known to be cheap as hell. I also want to include an addition to my contract about an education stipend. The small software dev company paid for my CSPO training after the parent company said they wouldn't. I'm looking for y'all's input on whether you think I'm asking for too little/much and input on how to word these requests. I have exclusively been given positive feedback on my performance.
