Just sharing what I have seen in blind horror stories from people discussing denials. The biggest risk seems to be specialty occupation because of the way a lot of PM job reqs are written. That's because some PM job postings say things like "MBA preferred" (so not required) or "Requires a degree in x, y or z" (so not a specific degree). If the job you applied for reads like that definitely don't transfer on receipt. On the other hand if it's very specific and your education exactly matches you should be good. For example. "Requires an MBA" or "Requires a degree in CS" and that's exactly what you have, hard to see how you could get the dreaded specialty RFE in that case. If you are making a "degree equivalent" case also don't transfer on receipt. "My MS in economics is equivalent to an MBA" or "my electrical engineering degree is equivalent to CS". That always carries risk no matter how objectively reasonable.

Thanks!

Mba required has nothing to prove its specialty occupation. It’s challenged based on DOL definition of specialty occupation and not job req itself

Initiated, RFE(for speciality occupation), lawyers responded with similar job postings with my degree(Ms in electrical engg) and a college professor vouching for my degrees prepared me for the job. Approved! PM role

Who reaches out to your Prof and is there a preference on who vouches? Got RFE too, not sure why yet

Not my prof, any prof from a reputed university that lawyers have tie up with I guess, good luck!
