Hi, I'm having a phone interview with Amazon for a PM role. Has anyone have any interesting pointers on preparing for the interview? I'm already reviewing the cracking the pm, thepminterview.com and behavioral questions from the web. I plan to follow the STAR method for behavioral questions. Is there something else that I should be looking into? Thanks.
Be prepared to cite specific features you have shipped end to end. Don’t say “I helped do this and that.” We want to see what happened because you led the way. Think about trade-offs without sacrificing cx. Think about challenges along the way and how you solved them.
Also, have a good answer to “Why do you want to work at Amazon?” Most interviewers will have made 90% of their decision in the first 5-10 minutes, so nailing this question (which will usually be the first) is critical.
Very good information. Thanks for sharing.

Have some strong use cases with tangible business result/values. You should have more than 2 use cases for each principle. Avoid repeating examples( you can refer but do not repeat)
Hey how did it go..? Can you share some insight if you don't mind.
Interview is tomorrow and I will share after that.
Sweet.. good luck

Review all the leadership principles and ensure you have in-depth answers for questions revolving around them. Prepare for thorough follow-up questions, because that’s what they pay most attention to. Lots of people can give basic examples of ownership and diving deep, fewer can really articulate their experiences in remarkable depth.
Thanks for your insight. Appreciate it.
Let us know how it turns out! I’m sure you’ll do well.
