At least keep it original so it does not look like the same person or machine wrote it. One review says "all the founders are still deeply involved in the company and help maintain the culture" and the second one says "all founders actively involved, maintaining the culture of the company". One person's title is "software engineer" and clearly writes marketing copy. If writing fake reviews is your job then I feel sorry for you.
It's a constant battle over who holds responsibility for the "branding" of the company on Glassdoor. Marketing and HR are always fighting over who owns it. You can usually tell what kind of company it is by who owns it.
Is HR owning it better or worse? I think it is more deceptive tbh. Marketing employees don't make your paygrades
Best line from our fake reviews is in the advice to management section: "stay true to your core values and trust that the team will follow and succeed". We literally have no values at all as a company! And as for following, people are leaving in droves.
Hahaha
Who actually talks like that?
Those who can't code, understand finance and business issues, or track kindergarten end up in HR.

Well that's just ignorant.
could never comprehend the full value of HR, but am sure it's negative
"I don't know what this is, but I say it's bad." Aka MS product strategy
said a zendesk guy
And those who aren't great engineers end up at Intuit. 😂
I completely agree on that.
Nah, the recruiters are behind this. It's a campaign to get more positive posts. Two major efforts underway currently... They've been pestering folks who submit candidate referrals to post on Glassdoor. There was also a poster last week. My guess is that OP is also a recruiter trying to subtly hype Glassdoor...
I don't think you understand HR vs recruiters. Two different worlds.. that's like comparing technical support with engineers way different..
Why would i be a recruiter hyping Glassdoor? That makes absolutely no sense. I don't work at Glassdoor
Sounds like Docusign
You should build an app for that. :P
People that say is HR is stupid have either never worked with good HR, have never worked with bad HR, or literally have just never worked with HR. Have some respect
By definition though, isn't that whole department there to save face for a company? I've never heard of "Good HR" before. Not to say it doesn't exist but man, is it hard to find.
You know an HR team is good when you don't hear about them in the media. No one would say that all engineers are bad due to the bad apples that end up in the news because blanket statements like that aren't accurate

I hear your point, but is more likely marketing than HR who would be behind something like this.
Pretty sure it is HR because we recently hired a chief people officer and his old company's glassdoor reviews said their HR posted a ton of fake reviews or harassed people to write positive reviews. People don't change
What you have heard is only a company that does not represent other companies. I'm a HR person who have worked in three companies and never had those issues. (They didn't even make fake reviews, because they didn't have to) It could happen out there, maybe common or not, but writers could be in public relations, marketing, and HR. It doesn't necessary mean that all the HR does it.
