Curious how people feel about the company. Does it look good on a resume? Different for a product role versus a field role (e.g. forward deployed engineer)?
Aren’t they the ones who help the gov track down and kill people with drones? That’s what I think of when I see their name.
Some think poorly of the company but doubtful they would not hire you just because it’s on your resume.
I wouldn’t hire someone from Palantir and was proud of it. Speaking strictly for myself but I know I’m not alone in that view.
you might not even know what some other team within your company is working on but you think you know the “type” of people Palantirians are? How do you know that? Check out our blogs or open-source projects for some insights if you are really interested in knowing as you are missing out on some very good engineers
Idk about all that, but I am very impressed by the quality of their open source projects, specifically the code quality part.
