Palantir Offer

Hi all. I'm expecting an offer from Palantir for a Forward Deployed Engineering Role. What would my expected compensation package be for someone with 1+ years of experience in the industry?

When you consider their offer ask yourself : "Am I really that desperate?"

Palantir has some good engineers but as a forward you'll be traveling A LOT. Make sure you're OK with that before you accept.

Yup, I'm aware about this and OK with it for the most part. Do you have any ideas what their salaries were (and years of experience to go with it for comparison sake)

A coworker left to go there like a month ago. I think their comp is on par with Microsoft. However if they want you to leave they'll probably increase your total comp by ~30k.

I know a bunch of engineers at P and so far, not one person likes it. They stay because they get to live in London and Israel for four months at a time on the company dime. That's the whole reason. You probably won't even know what you are working on.

Yeah - I'm pretty happy with the travel aspect of things, and understand how their work model is structured. I'd like to know what to expect from their compensation package so that I know if the travel etc. Will be worth it for me while comparing it to other job offers.

I would guess 160k. What do you know about the work model at Palantir?
