I did skipping Manager once and had a big time fuck up, would not recommend this. Be a little more smart about managing your manager.

Report his behavior to a skip manager. Remember that he's bound to follow company's conduct of ethics. If he's not following them (eg. being aggressive or intimidating) then this conversation should be easy. If he is following them, then you're not a good fit for the company you're working for, so leave.

If you started to "sweet talk his ears" then you're already in the losing ground, since you made him feel that his actions are appropriate. Getting dry out of this mess will be tough unless you have your shit together and stand your ground on what is "the appropriate" way to deal with you.

    Good luck!

      That’s a bad suggestion.

Unless you know for a fact that there is no strong relationship between your manager and his/her skip, this can turn out to be a career limiting move.

Delay everything including responses to his/her email...
If (s)he asks you for an estimate or a deadline, "i will get back to you" is the best answer.
Time diffuses situations. Eventually (s)he will get bored and bully the next person
