Do you guys own a patent under your name? How to start working on getting one and does this help in moving up the ladder or recognized in the organization?
I believe, patentable work occurs accidentally during an interesting project and won’t really be worked on intentionally unless someone is working on PhD, is this a fair understanding?
- Do the world a favor and don't patent unless the company forces you too. Just publish instead. As a bonus, then you get to use your idea if you ever leave the company.
