Does anyone know anything about this company in terms of culture/WLB etc? Going to hear the numbers from them soon. They work on computer vision for cancer diagnosis. Only found good things online but if anyone has more info, that would be appreciated! Thanks.
It's a bad place
Why so?
They didn't hire me :D
Did you get an offer from them?
Yep, Offer varies wildly depending on the role. Machine learning engineer comp looks something like 150K base, 10K sign on and some equity. The main thing to see is how the equity will pan out.
Congrats :)
That's a great offer for Boston.
Thanks but isn't it contingent on the equity? The base is good but stocks are supposed to be a big part of comp as well
How was the interview? I'm hoping to break into a CV role and their work sounds interesting.
Mix of Math, ML and coding rounds plus this one presentation you have to give on any research work you've done. Are you already in Boston?
Yep in boston - hesitant because it would be a paycut (not including the equity) but the reviews make it seem worth it.
Yeah I want to move to either Boston or NYC! Trying to figure out which location is better for a single female lol. I'd stay with Google. Where do you live now?
I am in mountain view now. but I've lived in Pittsburgh and Boston in the past. I'd definitely recommend new york over Boston. Many more teams to choose from as well; since you are planning to stay at Google. Haha although why is bay area bad for a single female? There's clearly no shortage of single guys. Are you looking for better diversity in the dating pool? Or just a more vibrant city?
I’m from the East Coast and I know I want to move back at some point so I don't want to date guys here unless they plan on moving there too... Which most here don't lol.
Does anyone know what PathAi’s comp scales are for Senior design roles? Bonus etc.. no
I interviewed with them. First call was about python framework preferences .. I mentioned my love for Flask .. it turned out they use Dhanjo 😂
Haha, ouch. Did you go for the on-site? If so, how'd you think the people were?
I did not pass first round .. but with that experience I felt people are think skinned and maybe a weak place for growth. What internet you about this role and company ? Anything in particular ? How has been your experience so far
