Pay increase with promotion at amazon
Say I join amazon l5 role with $120 base and 60k as either bonus or RSU which makes $180k TC. Now when I get promo to l6 will my salary increase since base is less than max $160k? How much does pay increase from l5 to l6 for non-tech role?

sparked Feb 11, 2019I’ve heard that until you hit salary cap you can work in trading RSU for salary. Also of note the salary cap is higher for Bay Area and NYC
