D.E.Shaw in Hyderabad paid 56lakhs to my team lead who had 8 yoe. But he was a rockstar performer with excellent reviews throughout his career at D.E.Shaw. Median will be 40-45 for 8 yoe. I knew a lot of ppl who got 25-30 for 3 yoe.

Flipkart: sde3 38 base, 5 joining bonus, 12 lacs stocks/year Rubrik: 43 base, 4 joining bonus, some paper money whose future valuation was 1 Cr. This future valuation stuff sounded pretty shady to me.
