Paypal hiring freeze
Are there folks from Paypal here who could shed some light on the hiring status? Is Paypal still under hiring freeze? Been waiting to hear from the recruiter for more than 2 months on whether a decision has been made on hire freeze and when the freeze would be potentially lifted

We currently have a hiring freeze for our team. I think our team foresees beginning of 2020 to be the end of the freeze.
Yes. I guess PayPal doesn’t hire during end year. January would be open.
Lots of misinformation in this thread...PP not on hiring freeze just not hiring at large growth pace...this may mean some groups not hiring based on their plan but PP is hiring
My team is actively interviewing candidates and we just onboarded two engineers in the past week.
PayPal has been having hiring freeze for like 8 months a year over last 3 years. They have a weird cycle of layoffs.. hiring freeze and then mass hiring.
