Fairness? Come on... Its fair to one country only
This time backlog happens to be for two countries. It can also be some other country. Under fairness rule, FCFS is used without throttling at 7% per country rate. With newer presidents, rules will change as it suits the political agenda and/ or US economy.
Stop already. It is DOA!
Seriously why don't people get this? It's going nowhere!
Stop the nonsense.
Can you Facebook people use your Facebook credits to drive more attention to this on Facebook platform?
No it’s against the policy.
What’s your policy?
Company name Checks out!
Lol
Bro.. stop worrying. Even if it passes, it goes to the president. Even if that goes through, it will take a long time(2022 if it passes this year) to really affect anyone. Use that time to LC and focus on your personal growth. No bill can stop you from growing personally or financially.
This is short-sighted.
This is not fair. Indian consulting companies hire only Indians and none from rest of the world. They are the largest number in GC queue. Now people of 160+ countries will be blocked to make way for giving GC's to those unqualified body shop folks. And you are calling fair? They want to have it both - abuse the H1b visa which is the pipeline into GC and then ALSO get all the GCs, claiming "a few" have abused the H1b. The thing is: it is the country’s fault. The backlog of India is purely caused by H1b abuse of IT outsourcing companies.
There you go. 12 less in the GC line now. Makes perfect sense with current laws as we look for country of origin instead of individuals https://www.nytimes.com/2019/09/20/us/iranian-students-visas.html
Why was it approved in first place?
Please call your to Senator to block this bill.
Just stop
