Well I have always wanted to work in pharmaceutical sales as I find that life style exciting. I have 13 years working for American Honda Motors Co. starting at the bottom and working my way up to a manager over 2 departments. Ended leaving the automotive industry and went to oil and gas as a global senor inventory analyst. Well long story short 2016 hit and my company was merged with a bigger company and my position was done. So since then I started my own business which is doing awesome but for me it's not intellectually stimulating enough. I feel like my company can run its self and I have always wanted to jump into a pharmaceutical sales position. Now the problem is I'm not beautiful woman with big boobs and I am a minority guy with no college degree. Hard worker yes and can out work anyone thus generating high numbers and output. Any words of wisdom? Cliff notes. 1. Hard working minority male 2. Worked in automotive and oil/gas 3. Always been ranked #1 on top of everything, top producer, always profitable for companies. 4. Want to get into pharmaceutical sales or the tech world 5. Trying to find out how to get in 6. Thanks for your help
Payout is awesome for pharma reps (especially if you are the top performer, the bonus can be 250% of your base). But most of them have pharma background, they understand the nuances of the drug, the therapeutic market, patient symptoms, competitive drugs, and they are able to develop good connections with the physicians. It's a lot of travel though. Happy to connect you with someone who recruits in that space. Also, you don't need to be a beautiful woman with big boobs to be a successful pharma sales rep.
I totally understand about having to learn the ropes. And like anything it's a learning curve forsure. I know myself and I have proven that I can go from Automotive to OG and then start my own company not knowing anything about the space I am into now. So with that being said I am very very competitive and love challenging myself. I know in any industry it's all about enhancing your customers expectations and experiences, if you can do that then that's 95% of the equation. I would love if its possible to connect, please let me know! To anyone else I am still open for suggestions please
Sure pm me. I can send you the recruiter's email id.
Please bump if viewed or leave a comment. Not asking for money just ask for information about this particular fieldwork.

Can you tell us more about why you think this role is exciting?
Sure when I did work for Honda, I really enjoy training people and educating. Plus I love the challenges to sell something that is maybe not needed. Also I've always heard that the payout is great. So for me it's a win/win. I get to travel and sell plus make great money! 😊
