Exactly. Apple buying out Tesla for autonomous vehicle will benefit both. Apple can compete with Google, Uber for autonomous vehicles and Tesla will get good financial backing

Skip the first one it is a trick question. With the second question it makes sense. The MNA is as much driven by the monetary policy as the companies itself. In a cheap asset environment the companies fixed cost to variable cost, investment costs are cheaper. So the production optimums are changing with the cost of money, thus in deacreading interest cycle companies tend to merge, inceasing interest rate cycles companies tend to spin-off.
