I had an onsite last week with Pinterest I think 3 interviews went well and i dont know about the last round. I just got an email from the recruiter asking for a 15 mins call. Is it possible to be rejected over the phone? Edit: It was an offer
Yes. It's possible. How did it go?
15 mints is too much for just rejection
I've got my rejection by email. But that was quite a few years back.
Congrats!! Could you share the numbers and yoe? Would help others/ me considering interviewing with Pinterest
What were your offer numbers, YOE, location?

Sounds like rejection. It's usually a bad sign when the recruiter asks to setup a debrief call without any indication of the result. When the result is positive, they're usually interested in sharing that or just calling you without scheduling it. It's the difference between "Feedback looks good so far - can we setup a call to discuss next steps and compensation?" and "Hey, are you available for a call tomorrow to discuss feedback?" tl;dr - When feedback needs to be "discussed", that means you're probably not going to get to the offer or compensation discussion. Either way, you'll find our soon enough! No sense speculating and making yourself anxious.
Okay thanks for the detailed explanation I really appreciate it
In my experience, it is not true. They just sent rejection email even after onsite interview
