Pinterest phone interview

I have done a phone interview through karat last week. I coded three problems. The first two compiled and passed all the cases the interviewer had. The last one is compilable. However, I missed one test case.
I was told yesterday that Pinterest is not moving forward with me.
Appreciate any insights to help me improve and get an onsite with Pinterest in the future.

      Is it too late to ask for referral now? Also, does Pinterest stop hiring people with less than 3 YOE? The rejection email said they cannot find a fit for me

      This is not an accurate advice. onsite bar is definatly higher than phone interview

    Interviewers are normally looking at a lot more than just can you code or solve xyz problem during an interview. Could be any number of things that may have led the interviewer to say no. Including some that have nothing to do with you, such as more qualified candidates being in the pipeline.

      Thanks for the response. Does Pinterest have “freeze period”? Under the case of not selected due to more qualified candidates in the pipeline, will I be put into “freeze period”?

      We had a hiring freeze a couple years ago due to overhiring, but I haven’t heard anything about slow hiring recently. Lots of teams have headcount and new hire classes get bigger each month

      It starts with a very straightforward question (lc easy). Follow up with two LC hard.
