I just heard that PIP failure results in not getting hired by Amazon permanently? Is this true?
I don’t understand your question
I think he's asking if failing a PIP will blacklist him from ever working at Amazon again. Then again in that situation idk why you'd wanna go back to a place that PIPed you
I think OP means Amazon will not hire anyone who was piped by previous employer
Amazon can't know if anyone was PIPed by a previous employer.
idk man when pip fails for me I shrug it off to the cloud and run it again and usually it installs my python deps the 2nd time around
If you fail a pip you are rehire eligible but they can see if you were on one. If you take the Pivot severance it will show you voluntarily left the company
why would anyone ever want to work for a company that treats them so badly?
