Please remember Linkedin is part of Microsoft
The only benefit of working at Li is good work and life balance and high hourly pay. However, LinkedIn is part of MS now, and MS is good at controlling ROI.linkedin is a low frequently usage website and technically don’t need to deal with scalability challenge, and you won’t learn any advanced technology or engineering best practices at linkedin. To be honest, Linkefin technology/infra/tools sucks. And I believe the Li will not able to keep low or negative ROI under MS. You don’t have any chance to even use the engineering best practices you were asked during li interview, with low qps, what ever you design will work. I personally regret joining Li so my opinion is biased. Please do your own research.
