Principal SDE at Microsoft
Got an offer at Microsoft, 168k base 160k stock and 60k sign on. Is this a decent offer for level 65?
This is low. Here’s something more appropriate - base 175k, 250k stock. Sign on seems ok but you could go for 80k.

My L64 SDE offer was much better last year - 170k base 250k stock 60k cash. They are seriously lowballing you, there will be L63s with a higher TC than you
I would suggest asking for 180k base, 280k stocks and 60 joining.
Well Principal at MSFT is kinda equivalent to L5 at Google. This is still in the ballpark of Principal, if you need a good offer I would have gone for 190 base, 360k stocks and 70k joining.
This seems shockingly low for principal SDE...
