Out of curiosity, what’s the range of compensation package for a product analyst (base, stocks etc)?
Btw, I realized a more realistic range is probably 170 - 250 TC. It’s probably rare for a higher TC package for product analysts.
Is that year 1 TC? Before additional grants?
How about a lead Product Analyst managing a team?
How is product analyst different from data scientist at google?? Or is it the same?
Product analyst ladder is not the same with data scientist ladder though they are in the same job family. DS pays much better than product analyst though they have substantial amount of overlap for day-to-day work.
im reading elsewhere the pay is actually really close but much harder to climb the DS ladder than PA.
Is their hiring freeze for Product Analysts tole?
Depends on level and experience, but 200-300 TC is normal for L4/L5.
Thanks! For the range you mentioned In the TC, do you Include 4 years of stock or just one year?
That includes the annual payout of stock in the initial 4 year grant. So for instance, a typical base might be $130K with a 10% target bonus, and a 4 year grant of say $200K which begins vesting immediately. Then the total comp is 130 + 13 + 200/4 = 193K. This does not include a signing/relocation bonus, which is a one time payout.
