Product Manager role at Facebook
Hello Blind community really need your help. Is it possible for a non tech background person to get into product management at Facebook? Have been a product manager for my startups (5-6 team members) for last 5 yrs and can code front end but no computer science degree. Would I be able to crack the product manager role at a FAANG? Or is it hopeless?
Definitely possible. Read up and prepare - FB PM interviews aren't super technical, but they are looking for particular things.

The actual type of interviews you'll have are well documented online, and if you study for that, you'll be fine. If you're actually going in with real product management experience and try to use it... well, good luck.

It all depends what happened to your startup: if it's at least a mild success story then yes, if it never got really off the ground then no
Makes sense. we got to $2 mill in revenue in another country and built a ton of software but regulatory issues are myriad in that space which seriously slowed growth so we decided to wrap up in the end
