Let candidates set their target TC, target locations, visa requirements, maybe some other stuff like health insurance etc to create a checklist that recruiters need to go through before being able to InMail them about a job prospect. If a recruiter checks everything but later turns out to be lying, let candidates report them. Make this a premium feature and I will pay.
People will not be willing to put their target TC public, because once you set that it tricks you into thinking that that's all you're worth, do consider socio-economic pressure as well. Maybe this could be a need basis feature, but i am still sceptical about it. I guess linkedin has an existing such feature but do you disclose your TC or how many people disclose their TC?
Yeah hired required you put a minimum base which makes me feel like I’m going to get low ball “well we met your minimum base” offers. It’s best to play the dance and let them give there number first because you can always go up from there.
The recruiter doesn't have to see what it is. They will fill in the form and send their message, and if their answers don't meet your target answers they just get filtered out. Maybe you can still access these in a separate folder and choose to respond if you want, there's no way for the recruiter to know what happened to their message.
