Product teams at Facebook: current and future locations.
From my understanding, all Facebook product teams are located either in SF, Menlo Park, Seattle, NY or London. It's only a few locations in comparison to all the existing Facebook offices around the world. What do you think will be Facebook's next big move? Do you think they'll open product positions in other offices or expand existing teams to new locations any time soon?

Product roles are not really conducive to smaller remote offices. I’d say they’ll keep PM concentrated in the larger offices where leadership and key cross functional stakeholders are present.

NY is very small. If you want to do product (and eventually get promoted) - stay where other product people are. For FB it is Menlo Park, Seattle, SF.
