My phone interview for Data Engineer at Amazon is done and I got a request to provide few dates for onsite interview. My question is, providing some dates which are 3 or 4 weeks from now will hurt the chances of getting hired? Going for onsite early will have more advantage than going late(like 4 weeks from now)? Thanks
but keep in mind that amazon is first pass first hire, they dont wait to interview all candidates
ya that is why I was thinking so much....
It depends. If multiple people are in the pipeline for the same position and if someone gets selected before your onsite, it will definetly hurt your chances.
Interview on the dates you are comfortable with. If the position gets filled by then, they will have you interview with another team.
And how many days they will give to decide if we get the offer? Asking because I have one more onsite after 4 weeks from now.
I asked for onsite interview within 1week of my phone interview and the recruiter suggested me to go prepare for 4 weeks. So, it’s perfectly alright. I went to interview after 3 weeks ended up getting the offer.
Company like amazon is always hiring because people don’t stay long
If you push it out a bit, you're more likely to get a panel of interviewers that are more relevant to the position and in a better mood on interview day because its not a shitty time for them. Interviewer schedules are slammed right now because we're hiring like mad, and last minute additions don't make anyone happy.

No. Give dates that you're comfortable with.
