Does anyone know what they would pay for L4 /L4.5 offer in seattle (after they were acquired). I read somewhere that they don’t give any refreshers, is that true?

    Comps not good. I was given 250k for a senior SDE last month.

      This was base+stock (or cash over time whatever). Last month the recruiter didn't know much about how the SAP acquisition will pan out as far as comps.

      So you can add another 20% of base as yearly bonus.

      Ok that's still around 280-290k. Not bad.

    They said they'll follow SAP style of smaller stock refreshes and higher base pay.

      Interesting. How much is smaller, compared to initial grants?

      They didn't say that. But they said it's going to be an annual cliff and a 3 yr vesting cycle. Previously, it was 4 yrs cycle and 1 annual cliff and then quarterly cliffs.

      Yeah, this is similar to what I heard. As long as they maintain the same/close enough to comp as at signing, it should be good. If it cliffs significantly post 3rd year, then it is bad. Forces people to leave once the last grant is vested. Probably better to wait until they give out refreshers this year. But I also assume people would start leaving once they vest their initial grants.
