A recruiter reached out to me for data science roles in google. I work in amazon as a business intelligence engineer (moving to data scientist next week ). Amazon also has research scientists who are mostly PhDs. I am not sure which one to apply for. I know basic ML models (classification/regression) and have been working on building these on my team for the last year. No NLP/Deep learning experience. Decent knowledge of statistics. Which role I should try for ? I have a preference for QA but I am thinking it’s google and PA might be easier. How much higher the pay band is for QA

Go for QA. PA role is bullshit, and they won't even ask you all the ML. Low pay as well. Take time and prepare well for QA role
