Questions to ask at the end of an interview?

I have few interviews coming up and I am preparing the questions I should ask the hiring manager and the VP of the team at the end of the interview. I want to make sure I understand if the team is good, the hiring manager/leaders are good and the work is not boring.
I had a bad experience in past where I didn’t do my investigation properly and I am suffering.
The interviews I have are product specific roles and needs good knowledge of stats, AB testing etc. with Tier 1 and Tier 2 companies

Really appreciate feedback from both interviewee and interviewers experience

    I had this problem too before. Now I actually have less time to ask these questions now. I simply changed my mindset. This is your best opportunity to ask the tough questions to management and every one else before you join. So questions for higher management like.. Tell me about the politics in the organization, how did you handle a challenge, how did you handle motivating the group, how is the team dynamics between the teams, if there is something that can be improved what is that, tell me about a failure you had. For your peers, ask questions like how are you managing your current workload, how is the recognition, growth opportunities, did you see any unprofessional behavior in the org etc. To the hiring manager, what is your leadership style, wlb, how they groomed the employees, how did he mentor his direct reports, what is the kpis for the role, success and failure etc. Man, there are so many issues in working the day 2 day of a job, you need to be able to find out all you can about it before you leave the place. Think of the interview as the wedding day and working there as marriage. Do you really want to get into a relationship knowing very little about the bride?

      Look at the body language when you ask these questions and note down if they are lying or any red flags. It will totally come in handy in the decision making process.
