It seems like at least 80% of Quora responses are long essays copy pasted from somewhere else, that don't even answer the question and are posted by people who know nothing on the topic. Usually they all end with a link to some product or service, and it's clear that these people are from SMM agencies posting spam. This has been going on for years and Quora, despite being a well-regarded company, clearly has no effective strategy to identify and ban such spammers. There is absolutely no value to showing Quora results at the top of any Google search as I'm sure most people just skip over them. Google should classify it as a spam site until they get their act together.
How do they not have an effective spam filter?
Or, you know, scroll...
I feel the same. Most of the questions are shitty and silly too.
Quora is the internet’s number one destination for finding out what people with schizophrenia think about any given topic. Invaluable.
Quora used to be good back in the day. Sorry to read this
Quora is the Yahoo answers of this decade 🤦♂️
I hate it when I accidentally click on quora links in the search results.
I hate quora. Too many Indians and they write essays instead of just get to the fucking point
I love quora for discovering new information, but I dont find much value when looking for something particular.
