Anyone know a rough compensation ballpark for Senior Manager at Expedia (and the components)? What is the environment like at Expedia? This is for a non-technical role. Thank you wise “friends” on Blind!
Why so low? How do they attract talent ?
120k is inaccurate. More like $130k-$140k for midrange senior manager.
Depends on where you are. 120 is above mid in some markets
Finance and treasury gets paid way below market at Expedia from what I've heard. I heard manager doesn't even make 90k.
They tend to low ball. Negotiate hard. But why go from a hot fintech industry to a declining business? If you are business side, business outlook should be more important for you
The numbers above must be base... And 5 years back.

Avoid teams with only Chinese or Indians especially with a Chinese/Indian manager
By non-technical, are you referring to a role in the Product org?
Business side, don’t really want to say more.
