I worked at Amazon for 8 months as SDE-1. Left the company after that for personal reasons. It's been 6 months since then, want to ask, can I re-interview for SDE-2 position now since my total work ex is more than 4 years? Or is there a minimum time limit for which I can't interview? Also, do the recruiter/new team ask for feedback from previous team before allowing to reinterview or getting hired?
There's no "minimum time limit" like you describe. Asking previous team is not officially part of the process but you should expect that to happen. Are you worried talking to old team will reflect poorly on you?
