If you need to ask, don’t prepare harder.

But would be great to know how much gap I can cover to see if it’s worth the unemployment status (its complicated on OPT)

Amazon Jeff Bеzоs May 28, 2018

Can’t you get a job and still continue preparing for something better?

Microsoft Mortgage69 May 28, 2018

Lol thats already 185k without considering any stocks growth and 401k match. How much are you expecting? 500k TC for a new grad? 😂

Dumb thread.

Snapchat ZzoooWoma May 28, 2018

Stupid thread. FB and Google don’t even pay as much as this for entry levels (well, your signing bonus is shit though)

Google DLUm08 May 28, 2018

Yes they can. My Google l3 offer was 210 TC and that was for Seattle area. Granted, I had a competing l4 offer which bumped it up 20k to get there but still.

Apple cho Chang May 28, 2018

@DLUm08 that wasn’t a new grad offer tho right?

There is no arguing with new grads these days! The TC expectation is a warped sense of reality thanks to all the stock appreciation of tech companies. Unsolicited piece of advice, stay grounded. This trend might or might not last.

Arent you also being paid in similar terms? Why feel anguished with recent new grad expectations? Times have changed so should you. With the fees now days. I believe most of us just want to earn to pay that student loans first.
