Recent interview with Amex

I had two interviews with Amex two weeks ago, and it went well as per my analysis. However, I have not heard anything from the interviewers even after follow-up with them a couple of days ago. So, is this normal with this company?. I mean what should be concluded from this silence?

No news is good news. Currently, you have Schrödinger’s Job Offer.

Thanks for giving me positivity on that day. I am getting this offer, just had a discussion with the director. However, it seems my starting date can create an issue. I can start in September end, however, they want someone immediately (June /July/early-Aug)?. Can someone be rejected on the starting date issue?

You can definitely be rejected based on your start date. Is there no way you can push it up? Perhaps negotiate higher pay to move up your start date?

Keep searching and interviewing. Ghosting is quite common.. not to say you have been ghosted but in the event you have , don’t let it slow you down.

Financial Services are glacial with their recruiting. Keep moving along since there's no point in waiting, but if they come back and you have an offer somewhere else pit 'em against each other.
