Recommendations for good wifi routers
Hi blinders, I am looking to upgrade my wifi router system. I get terrible speed in my rooms upstairs. Was checking out orbi mesh based wifi system. Anyone has recommendations ? TC 180k. Thanks

Currently using Motorola surfboard sb6121 as modem and asus rt-n12 as wireless router, I think I have a 50 mbps connection, the problem happens in upstair rooms , I can hardly stream anything on my bedroom TV. The problem can be because of weak wifi signal and old hardware. I am looking to get something with dual or tri band

I had a similar problem. 3 level house with some areas not getting enough signal/bandwidth. A bud at Cisco recommended Synology 2600. I am renting from Comcast- router/modem combo. It is pretty good
Why rent if you can buy one
Why buy if you can rent one for 11bucks a month...given the pricing, it will take ~20+ months to spend as much to buy a new one...by that time the “new” one you had bought will be kinda outdated. I think you could renew/upgrade your Comcast one much earlier
