Refreshers at Apple
How do refreshers work at Apple? Is it only for top performers i.e. does an average performance mean no refresher?

80% of the employees receives generous refreshers at Apple.. thier initial offer might be lower but they make up for that using refreshers..

In general it’s 1-1.2x base pay per year, in my experience.

Depends on org. But top performers get the lion share (very generous), avg performers get “some”, low perf nothing. What is “some”, say your base is 160, maybe 70/4years. Not exact but it gives you and idea. Top? Maybe 160-200 / 4 years
Just curious how does Apple perf rating work? Is it fair or bases on managers’ bias reports?
I would guess it depends on level also? Eg. I’d guess a top 5% senior SWE would get 2x to 3x a top 5% new grad?
