Had an on-site at salesforce. It is not that difficult. But they turned me down cause I didn't show passion for their products. What does it really mean, did kiss up enough?
did you ask questions about their products?
That’s cool that they gave you feedback actually!
How can someone show passion for lame-ass Salesforce? :)
Fake it till you make it
What was the reason you went to interview at sales force? If you appeared to have comp as your top motivator, then that is why they rejected you.
Comp is obviously one reason, but not the only one
Thanks for posting this. I don't think measuring passion for their products is the right way, perhaps measuring passion for the work that leads to those products could be better. Btw, how were the interviews structure and content? Were there behavioral rounds? How tough were the tech interviews?
Not much BQ except the lunch. Tech questions mostly medium and some design questions
The only time I got a chance to mentione their products was lunch with the manager and I did showed my curiosity. Next time guess I could do a better job.
trust me, we did you a solid. don't work here if you want $$$ growth
What do you mean, no potential for growth? Share down after beat revenue and profit
salesforce makes a tooooon of money marketing its products but EXTREMELY stingy with salary, promos, and rsus. most people leave the great WLB here because they are severely underpaid. I'm on my way out myself. waiting for bonus to be paid.
oh geez! Did you forgot to make moaning sound at the end of interview expressing how much you like their product? That is like must thing!
