Anyone go through relocation with a family to Seattle with Amazon, Microsoft, Zillow or Porch? How was it, what was the stipend like, was it paid up front or in your first check?
5 years ago MS just gave me a prepaid credit card for $15k so could pay for whatever I needed
3 years ago I only got 5k credit card for relocation
Amazon moved everything for me, plus real estate agent, car, rent reimbursement etc. Or 15k cash net of taxes (still added to your w2)
Ditto this, plus family trip in advance for house-hunting, cash to sell our previous house, moved the pets - well worth having them do it all if you have kids and own a house.
Ms moved everything (2 40ft containers) including pets 3 times between US and Europe no questions asked. Temp housing and rental cars for both me and my wife for 90 days plus 10k allowance for incidental expenses.
Thayd neat! How long with MS? What role and level?
Microsoft packed & shipped my stuff, paid me 15k relo cash + 25k bonus(added to your w2), also provided me temp housing for 3 months and auto rental for 1.5 months, which I think is awesome.

How many hours do you workout everyday?
Zillow offers cash - pretty good money and some temp housing. Microsoft not much cash but they take care of moving and housing for sometime Amazon - A decent moving package was offered.
There is an option where you can opt for cash. Depending on weather you have a family or not, the amount varies. 15k after tax to be precise if you don’t have a family.
That's true - MS offers the cash option as well. But for families I'd suggest the full service.
