I already signed an internship offer from Microsoft and I now have a LinkedIn offer. I much prefer LinkedIn but I do know LinkedIn is now owned by Microsoft. What should I do? I can renege on Microsoft without sharing that my other offer is from LinkedIn. This assumes that applicant info is not shared between the two. Or I can ask Microsoft if they'd be chill with me interning at LinkedIn instead. Since LinkedIn is a subsidiary of Microsoft, I feel like this might be possible.
How about you delay a semester to do both? If you have enough credits, you might be able to do both and still graduate on time
I wish I could do this but it's not possible 😭.
Ask. If you renege, it's entirely possible (but I don't know how likely) for them to pull both offers. You sound like you don't want to risk this, even if it's very unlikely.
Why prefer LinkedIn just curious?
Better pay for FTE!
Yup, better return offer and perks
You are insignificant for Microsoft and LinkedIn to collaborate on punishing you.
A little harsh but true
Just tell/ask Msft you're going to LI. Separate interview processes but one big happy family.

Why are Americans obsessed with SUV?
Microsoft and LinkedIn hire as two different companies
You don't think there's any way Microsoft would find out about me taking LinkedIn if I didn't tell them?
Considering they are the same company... Wouldn't be surprising at all. Probably unlikely, but absolutely possible.
