Resigning / Annual Bonus?
I’m probably going to leave Google soon for FB. What’s the last date I have to work to get my annual bonus? Looking at the trix from last year, it was like Effective Date: 1 Jan 2019 Earliest Payroll Integration Date: 6 Jan 2019 Pay Date: 18 Jan 2019 So far the trix this year just has: Effective Date: 1 Jan 2020 I’ll infer the 2020 pay date as: 10 Jan 2020 or 24 Jan 2020 Assuming that’s accurate, will I get the bonus if i leave on Jan 1st, or how soon can i leave and still get it? (I’m assuming it’s not prorated if I left today.)
12 months. Quick exit. Why?

Um... wait until you get the check deposited. I have never heard of anyone getting the bonus AFTER they left a company.
Exactly. Don't resign until the payment hits your account. Otherwise, there is good chance you're not getting it...
I got one from my previous company when I came to Google. I hit the incentives before I left and they honored them.
Earliest date to leave is when check comes
Bonus is backward looking so it is prorated. You can resign around 5th Dec
Found the answer, should’ve just done quick MOMA search. “To receive your bonus, you must be employed by Google on December 31.”
I would guess leaving on Jan 1st should be fine
