I have a very mediocre iq and have never passed a single phone interview, the problem being I cannot answer the algorithm questions. I have tried leetcode, Skiena, and CTCI but still have found no success in being able to solve the problems. Those resources don't explain how to solve the problem or abstract it to a pattern. I know this a long shot since everyone on this app has incredibly high iq, but can anyone recommend resources for a mediocre iq individual like myself to learn how to apply the different algorithms to problems? My dream is to get an acceptance letter from google or a unicorn. I am so fucking sick of seeing everyone I know and shittons of random people online who have never struggled for anything get offers from prestigious companies. I know I will never be able to compete with their IQ, but at the very least I'd like to be equipped. At this point, since I have never passed a phone interview (have done 20) I'd like to have a path to learn how to solve any algorithm problem. I'm willing to put in as much time as it takes, but there are no resources that teach how to break down a problem, or find the needed tip to solve it. Please don't troll me. I'm already depressed enough as it is and just want to achieve one valuable thing before I die. I already have a date set for when to end it if I don't make it past the phone interview. Thanks

Leetcode can be hard to start with, depending on your level. Elements of Programming Interviews does a great job of covering the basics and incrementally building up from them. So much better than trying to decipher someone else’s Leetcode solution with no explanation. Would highly recommend the book On the off chance you’re not trolling
Why you in MS if you got retar*** iq?
Try something like topcoder or codeforce start with division 2 and easy problems. Once you start reading and mapping those to simple things like sorting brute Force etc you will start enjoying programming. Learn to enjoy simpler things so that will take phobia away that you can't do something. Forget Google or job offers and love coding. You will realize that your dreams weren't big enough
Topcoder's problems are Google/FB level which I can't solve. What should I read?
Read their solutions, read comments of people, post your comments. You will realize that you need clarity when Expressing your self that should be a good start
Do what almost all Indians do everytime: memorize. Even Tushar Roy memorized most of the solutions he put on yt: take one from here, add one, if bigger, oh no, there should be also one... this is how it works. You are both Indians so he may give you some tips how to memorize best.
TRoy has a high iq, I can't possibly compare.
This is why you need to memorize. No other way.
Calm down man, perhaps the issue is not in the problem solving skills per se. I'd suggest get more organized in ur practice. Spend an hour solving and an hour or two reviewing the solutions. You will see a pattern of places you make mistakes most. Solve more examples of things you don't get. Analyze. Repeat. X100 = any job, anywhere, any exam. FYI - you are not your job. Stopping giving a damn about what other people are doing on FB. Getting a job in Google is not going to solve all your issues in it self.
The issue is definitely problem solving. When I look at a problem my brain doesn't form solutions like Google's intern's brains do. I have a low IQ. And FYI - yes it will solve my problems.
Try to go to school... That's where you're supposed to learn... Leetcode is BS, you don't need it once you have learned the bases at the University
Try solving problems by topic. Example: do multiple problems that can be solved by sorting. Eventually, you will see a pattern. It may take a while, but keep trying.

Just memorize everything in leetcode. It’s like 300 questions only
No prestigious companies ask leetcode questions
