Return Offer Amazon but want to intern somewhere else

Hi, I have done my best as an intern in Amazon and my manager has told me that I get a return offer!!! (don't know TC yet) However, although I have just graduated I plan to continue to pursue a master. The thing is that in this last year of studies I will like to try if I can to get in an even better company (e.g. Google) by potentially doing an internship during the master. Then, I don't know what to answer to my return offer. I would not like to accept the offer if by refusing after in the worst scenario I will be blacklisted, since Amazon is the only good company in my home country and eventually I will want to work there. However, I don't want to have to interview again if I don't take the offer and don't get in any better place. What could I answer to the offer? PS: Some ideas that I had. - Refuse the offer and maybe if I apply again in less than one year they won't need me to interview? - Ask for a return internship (suggesting that I can go to PhD) and if I finally want to join Amazon I ask to convert the internship to full-time. - Accept the offer and if I get something better try to be very polite and say that in the future I will like to join with the experience that I gain.

Do you would like you to have a cake and eat it too?

Yeah I know that it sounds pretentious to want so many, but I feel a bit lost at this point because of that I look for advice.

If you’re in school, your school might/should have a policy about the minimum number of months you should get before accepting your return offer. Amazon will have to comply with that if they want to continue recruiting at your school. I used this to hold off on signing my return offer from my final internship (not at Yelp anymore). Otherwise, I think the third option is the best. Accept it and keep interviewing. If you get something better, tell them that you can’t join the company due to personal reasons. They might get mad and you might get calls from your hiring manager, but they can’t force you to do anything and they most likely will understand and wish you the best. You will still be considered for opportunities at Amazon in the future.

Why not drop the masters, get the year of work experience at Amazon instead, and then go for Google with a year of work exp under your belt?

Basically the master that I am doing is very interesting and I think that if I don't take this opportunity now I won't do it, but I can always work
