I am a software engineer (IC) in US and planning to return to India next year. I applied to several jobs on LinkedIn but didn't get any calls. I am out of Indian job market for 10 years and so wondering if anyone has info or leads on how to apply for jobs in India from US. I want to keep internal transfer as last option. Also, what are some companies that are hiring a lot these days in Bangalore/Hyderabad?
Lucid motors. No that isn't true. The situation is complex. He gets to keep his place till his date becomes current. At that point if he is still with oracle (assuming that's the one who filed the PERM), he can actually move back to USA and claim his place in the queue. If, he leaves oracle though, then his new firm needs to redo PERM, to get that priority date back. Ofcourse if op is in a new company in a new country, chances are high that this company won't bother to do these steps.
Planning to move back for personal reasons - forgo'ing my spot in the queue. Info on job search in India will be useful for this post.. thank you
Try instahyre
Naukri and monster are pretty standard but noisy, also given Christmas approaching very less folks in office here too. Most india offices also are empty, suggestion would be start actively applying from jan mean while grind lc this holiday season.
Well op, it might be way easier transferring back through oracle, getting a foot hold and then venture out there once you get the lay of the land. All folks I know who went back, and it is quite a few, did it that way
Directly contact recruiter via LinkedIn
I am also in the same boat as OP , no response from the recruiters when I message them
DM me. I know few who did it.
I would suggest move to a company in US that has a presence at in India and do an internal transfer. That will be way easier than finding a job directly in India. That way you can retain your stock compensation. Lot’s of companies like Linkedin, Google, Salesforce, Microsoft, Uber, Nutanix has good teams in India too.
Do you have your GC?
Still on H1. Several more years for GC
One loses his place in line for GC if we leave US, right? I'm guessing you are giving up on GC at this point?
