Rewards Credit Card?

I am evaluating which rewards card should I go for? Currently I have Chase freedom and Bofa Travel/Cashback card and none of these give me enough rewards. My friends have Sapphire (they got 100k points) although now its 50k so wondering if this is the best option?

My expenses are 6-8k in travel a year and 1500-2k expense/ month on CC.

Any recommendations?

It definitely is more work than 1 card for sure...

I end up spending 40k per year in the above categories. At 2-3% it's 1200 dollars annually. Not a lot, but for me, simply remembering which card matches which expense is definitely the easiest money I'll 'make' all year (:

Sapphire Reserve is $450/yr but reimburses $300 worth of travel expenses per year, gives free priority pass lounge access for you and your companions, ra d reimburses you for global entry/TSA pre fees. Most importantly, it multiplies all your Chase points by 1.5 when redeemed for travel. Excellent purchase and travel protection too, plus primary collision insurance for rental cars. And finally 3x points for dining and travel. Love this card. Since we use a lot of Chase points, also got the Chase Freedom Unlimited to get 1.5 points per dollar for other purchases, and that becomes 2.25 points when transferred to the Sapphire Reserve.

If you have a few hundred thousand in your BofA account, BofA Premium Rewards is nice. 3.5% back on dining and travel 2.625% back on everything else.

Chase Sapphire Reserve has 3x points on dining and travel which becomes more like 4.5x if you redeem them for travel through Chase rewards

This guy knows his stuff. These are the only two cards to care about...if you have >100k in aggregate in bofa accounts you will get those %’s and it cannot be beaten if you’re not gonna redeem for travel. If you do want to use points for travel, sapphire wins.

Freedom + Freedom unlimited + Sapphire reserve combo covers well at least 90% of expenses. Then you can get some club cards like IHG or Alaska where benefits are better then costs.

I actually looked into the Uber card. The rewards are pretty decision. Conclusion: If you spend a lot - go for Sapphire, for OP, Uber card is pretty solid.

If you have 100k+ balance in bank of America account, then Premium rewards card, else new Uber card looks solid..
