https://www.riotgames.com/en/news/riot-one-year-later-my-reflections I'm personally pretty proud of how much we've come in a year.
Cool
Lol
Are you trying to recuperate from all the bad PR riot's been getting LOL
Haha, of course! Honestly, Riot is a pretty damn great place to work... Thing is the PR can't be overcome by anything besides Riot actually being awesome place to work for D&I. Words mean nothing.
In my 15+ years in industry and across 5+ companies, I heard this exact phrase from the executives everywhere -“this is the best place ever”. Such a BS, I guess part of that fat paycheck is to say stuff like this, no matter what the reality is?
Hopefully PAX won’t be affected this year
Considering applying? What’s the TC like? 8 yoe, top schools.
8 years in and you still think the school with went to carries weight? It doesn’t here, anyway 🤷♀️
Why is it I never see the feminists pushing for more women oil rig workers or high rise welders or sewage engineers? Strange. It's only gripe gripe gripe about the rarified-air jobs. You'd think it was less about equality and more about asymmetrical privelege...hmmmm.
Just BS, harassment and retaliation are parts of the menu here.
Don't use your anonymity to blatantly lie here please. Some people might actually believe you
Yeah. I mean... It's possible? But I don't have a clue where or how right now.
Wtf is a diversity officer? That sounds like a made up role...
Who cares
^ This is such BS. Not only is hiring base on only gender or race extremely unethical, it also completely undercuts the females that were hired.
Why immediately go to the assumption that the women were hired because they are women, wtf is that? As we make the company more appealing to women candidates, and improve our hiring practices, more women will be hired into more roles. The % numbers will increase as a result. It is a good thing. If you don’t believe it, go study all the science on how diverse teams outperform homogeneous teams.
