I'm a software engineer. I think my ideal space is somewhere between these two, but not sure what that would be. Some options: 1) sales engineering 2) engineering Management 3) technical product management Thoughts?

Having not worked with tpms, could you please share what makes this role interesting? I fear it would be very operational without much scope for deep thinking, creativity that product management and engineering can have. Thoughts?
TPMs are technical at amazon? Twitch has garbage of TPMs who have not even finished community college. I’m not exaggerating.

Technical product management and engineering management should be good options. Also if you work at a company that does SaaS products or "high tech", then they will probably only want product managers with strong engineering backgrounds
