SDE 2 Offer Amazon Seattle
I’m a lead engineer at my current company (5 years experience but climbed fast). I already got an improvement on my initial Amazon offer. Wondering if I should accept the improved offer or ask for more RSUs or sign on. Initial offer: $140k base 85 RSU $40k + $35k signing bonus Improved offer: $140k base 100 RSU $60k + $45k signing bonus
Damn. Looks like a pretty fucking good offer to me. $208k yr 1, 210k yr 2, 216k yr 3, 220k yr 4 with planning is solid.

How did you show the competing offer? Do they make you send in that offer letter?
They will ask for it but you can respectfully decline. They just trusted me.

It looks like the offer I got. Target Comp I received is 215k (Seattle sd2 offer with about 4 years of experience) but I had to show with a competing offer.
