SDE 2 XBOX team offer seems too low

i an being offered a L61 sde 2 role in xbox team. i have a masters and close to 7 years work experience (international 3) and US 4 years. being offered base of 132k, 140k stock and 30k sign on. seems very low to me. tried negotiating hard the recruiter says based on interviews this is the best. i am desperate to get to seattle for sake of family. am i making a mistake?

how easy is it to get promo? manager is saying she will work with me to get to 62 in a year

      Not true at all. Superstar return intern offers are typically 150k stock and 50k sign on. It is extremely rare for the sign on to go above 50k. Normal return intern offer is 120k stock and 25k sign on. New grads that aren't interns typically get significantly lower.

      That's an extremely rare Superstar offer with multiple strong competing offers. I was an intern at Microsoft last summer and received a full time offer. The interns collectively created a huge spreadsheet with all their offers before and after negotiation and other information such as competing offers and previous internships. Offers like the one you listed happened but were extremely rare, most offers were similar to what I just described in my previous comment.
